Setting
up your Macintosh OS X e-mail account
|
1. Open
up Mail, click on Mail menu and choose Preferences.

2.
Click the arrow box on the Check accounts for new mail pop-up list and
choose Manually, then click the Create Account button.

3. Choose POP Account in the Account Type pop-up list.
- In the Description field, type your email address (username@ussonet.net).
- In the Email Adress field, type your email address.
- In the Full Name field, type your name as you would like it to appear
when you send email..
- In the Host name field, type "pop3.ussonet.net"
- In the User name field, type your email username
without @ussonet.net.
- In the Password field, type your email password.
- In the SMTP Host field, enter "smtp.ussonet.net.

4. Click on
the Accounts Options tab. Check the box next to "Delete
messages on server after
downloading"

5. Click
the OK button to save your account. Then close the Preferences
window to return mail.
