Setting
up your Windows Netscape e-mail account

1. Open
your Netscape e-mail and click on Tasks and choose Mail
and Newsgroups.
2.
Click the New Account button, choose "E-mail
Account" and then click on Next.

3. Enter your Display Name,
i.e. John Smith. and e-mail addresss, "your e-mail username@ussonet.net".
Then click on Next.

4. Select POP for the type of incoming server, and enter "pop3.ussonet.net". Click
on Next.

5. Enter your account name
and not "username@ussonet.net". Then click
on Next.

6. Netscape will now ask for the Account Name. This is a unique name to
refer to these settings. It should already show your email address, if not,
enter US SONET. Click Next.
7. To
set your outgoing mail server, click Outgoing Server
(SMTP) in the left column and
enter "smtp.ussonet.net" into the Server name
box.
8. The last screen will allow you to review the settings you have entered. Click
Finish.
9. Click OK to return to Netscape.
