SONET INTERNET HELP - Making sure your IP
address is alive.

1.
Begin by clicking on Start and going to Run.
2.
In Run, type COMMAND for Windows 95/98 users and click
on OK. For Windows 2000/XP users, type CMD and click
on OK. If you get a message box that says the program file name
cannot be found. Click on Start and go to All Programs
and then Accessories or Programs
and find MS Command Prompt.

In the MS Command Prompt, type in ipconfig and press
Enter on your keyboard. Find your IP Address and then type ping
with a space and then the IP address. Press Enter and if you get
Requested time out go to step four. If you are getting
a response and not getting on-line, you can give us a call at 618-548-6909

Type the following in the DOS window ipconfig /release and press Enter, and then type
ipconfig /renew and press Enter. Type ipconfig, press Enter, and if
you get Requested time out go to step 5.

Type the following in the DOS window netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt
and press Enter. Close out of any windows you have open, including
the DOS Prompt window, and then reboot your computer. Once your
computer is rebooted try to get on-line, if still cannot get on-line
give one of US SONET technicians a call at (618) 548-6909.
