SONET INTERNET HELP - Setting up a LAN Network.

1.
Begin by clicking on start and going to run.
2.
In your run, type inetwiz (does not matter if it is capitalize or
not) and then click on ok.

3.
Internet Connection Wizard comes up, and click on Connect using
my local area network (LAN). Then, click on next.

4.
Under Automatic Configuration, "Automatic discovery of proxy server
(recommended)" should have a check mark and then click
on next.

5.
Click on yes if you have an US SONET e-mail account (Click
here for e-mail account set-up) and want to
use an default e-mail program, i.e. Outlook Express, etc. , and
no if you neither have US SONET e-mail account or if you rather
use Squirrel
mail. Click on next.

6.
Click on Finish to complete the Internet Connection Wizard.
7.
Click
on any Internet browser you wish to use (Mozilla, Fox-fire,
Netscape, Mircosoft Internet
Explorer, etc) and make sure you home page comes up.
If your homepage doesn't
comes and gives "this page cannot be display"
or "cannot find server".
Click on making
sure your i.p. address is alive and follow the
steps, or call one of our technicians at 548-6909.
